Mishina Plate_12cm Feldspar Glaze / Kentaro Murayama
It starts with digging the soil,
We walked through the mountains of Hizen, collecting raw materials such as soil, stone, and iron.
He makes his own clay and glazes.
All of the materials used in our tableware are gifts from nature.
Based on traditional Karatsu techniques, and through extensive research into clay and glazes, we create a unique, deep texture.
While taking advantage of the texture of the clay, the clean shape gives it a dignified appearance, which is very impressive.
By serving bite-sized dishes such as sweets, Japanese confectionery, and appetizers, you can create a beautiful view that makes use of the white space.
It is made to fit the small and large iron stands.

Regarding the handling of tableware
Each piece is handcrafted and will develop a rich expression over time as it becomes a part of your daily life.
To ensure you can enjoy using this product for a long time, please read the following care instructions.
-As each piece is made by hand, there may be individual differences in the details of the vessel and the color and appearance of the glaze.
- The more you use it, the softer and more familiar the appearance of the vessel will become, and you can enjoy the process as the flavor deepens.
*Cracks may appear on the plate that has accumulated glaze. We hope you will enjoy them as part of the vessel's scenery.
- We hope you understand that small black spots and pinholes caused by the iron contained in the glaze, as well as very fine cracks and chips that do not penetrate the base, are characteristics of handmade pottery.
- After use, wash immediately and dry thoroughly in a well-ventilated place before storing.
If you soak it in water for a long time, it may cause mold or stains.
- The base material has been treated to make it waterproof, but if you touch it immediately after it has been exposed to oils from food, hand cream, etc., it may leave marks.
If you are concerned, lightly wipe off any oil from your clothes before use.
