MISHINA

"MISHINA" tableware is a combination of an iron base and three dishes, perfect for serving three appetizers, which originates from "Shiki Sankon," a banquet etiquette that has been used since the Heian period, or for afternoon tea.

The wonderful handiwork of iron artist Um Dimm resonates with each other and brings out the individuality of each other.

Designer Yumi Terauchi's philosophy has created a new style of dining, with handles designed for easy serving and a smart height calculated for ease of eating.

This tableware allows you to fully enjoy the unique harmony of designs created by a ceramic artist, an iron artist, and a product designer.

As the first step, we are collaborating with ceramic artists from Karatsu City, Saga Prefecture.

Karatsu is a coastal area of Saga Prefecture, blessed with abundant nature and the sea and mountains.

Karatsu ware is rooted there and has been passed down through the generations.

Guided by its charm, people who have inherited it have begun to create new products that respect tradition but are not bound by it.

We will introduce the sincere creations of ceramic artists who make the most of the materials, such as shape, color, texture that fits in the hand, and feel.

Because each piece is unique, only a selection of items are available for online purchase.

Please come and see it in our gallery or at our special exhibition.
