Experience the change.
This sake cup makes use of the double structure of Ohori Soma ware, a distinctive feature of the "double-baked" technique. The double inner curves come in three different shapes that bring out the flavor and aroma, and the shape of the inside is engraved on the outside, allowing you to visually see the shape of the contents inside.
The shape of the cup, which is sandwiched towards the bottom, changes the way you perceive the taste from the beginning to the middle. A lingering fruity, savory, and umami flavor spreads, followed by bitter, astringent, and shell-like flavors. The white glaze allows you to taste the color of the sake, so it is recommended for those who are particular about their alcohol.

IKKON is a company that seeks to create new values by exploring the relationship between sake and tableware, and aims to create new ways of drinking, using, behaving, and enjoying sake, allowing you to fully enjoy it to the last drop.
IKKON is named after the Japanese word "ikkon" which means to pour and drink sake, or the behavior of sake.
It won the GOOD DESIGN AWARD 2018.

Ohori Soma ware is a type of pottery with a 350-year history dating back to the Edo period, produced in the Ohori area of Namie Town, Futaba County, Fukushima Prefecture. Since being forced to leave due to the Great East Japan Earthquake, the craftsman has relocated to a nearby location, where he continues to weave his history.
