SHAQUDA/SUVÉ Face cleaning brush
Shakuda/Souve Face Cleansing Brush
¥8,800
A facial cleansing brush made from the finest coarse goat hair.
It applies gentle pressure to the skin, leaving it feeling soft after washing.
Furthermore, the rich, fine lather helps to retain moisture and helps create beautiful, moisturized skin.
Recommended use is about once a week for deep cleansing.
Characteristics of goat hair: The recommended usage period for natural goat hair is about 6 months to 1 year.
The face cleansing brush is made from a mix of natural goat hair and synthetic hair.
With use, the natural goat hair will wear down and the synthetic hair will remain, changing the feel against your skin.
SHAQUDA's hometown, Kumano Town, located in the mountains east of Hiroshima, is one of Japan's leading brush towns, dating back to the end of the Edo period.
Kumano brushes are a traditional craft born in the Kumano region, a land blessed with fertile nature and embraced by the scenery of nostalgic rural villages. They embody the essence of brush-making, which has been passed down tirelessly for over 180 years.
SHAQUDA, a brush brand from Kumano, is backed by the unparalleled traditional techniques of Kumano brushes and embodies the proud craftsmanship of master artisans born and raised in Kumano.
SHAQUDA brushes are made using the intuition and experience of a connoisseur, pouring their soul into every single hair, from the "selection" of the finest hairs to the "straightening" of the hairs using skilled techniques, to the "mountain-dashi" process of shaping the various tips using an original wooden tube called a "koma." SHAQUDA brushes are made using the intuition and experience of a connoisseur, and convey the artisan's incredible mind, technique, and body, as well as the gentle warmth that can only be achieved through handwork.
How to use?
1. Lathering: Apply an appropriate amount of soap or facial cleanser to the wet tip of the brush and lather it in a circular motion in the palm of your hand.
2. Gently wash your face by using the cleanser tip and foam in a circular motion as if massaging your skin.
Use it once a week for deep cleansing to thoroughly remove dead skin cells and other impurities.
If you have sensitive skin, wash your face with the creamy foam created with a brush.
3. Cleaning and storage: After use, rinse off the foam thoroughly and store in a well-ventilated place.
What soap do you use with it?
Use soap with natural ingredients.
Synthetic ingredients with strong cleansing power can easily damage the natural oils in the bristles, so we recommend using a facial cleanser made from natural ingredients.
Also, please refrain from using products containing scrubs as they can cause wear to the bristles.
How do I care for it?
After use, rinse the soap thoroughly.
Rinse the tips thoroughly under running water, all the way down to the base.
If soap remains on the tip of the brush, it can cause premature deterioration and mold growth, so be sure to rinse it thoroughly, including the base.
Then, drain the water thoroughly.
Store in a well-ventilated place to prevent mold growth.
